Katja Herrik and Pia Græsbøll Ottesen

Gallery Dahl, Sodring by Udbyhøj to 1 May

The two artists have before made an exhibition together including at Sønderborg Castle in 2002. On that occasion, with the renowned author Maria Helleberg, their works seem to want to tell stories with humor and a slightly humorous approach. In way that forces us to consider how we really view nature.

Pia Græsbøll Ottesen explores sculpture's ability to interpret the different views she stumbles over in life - either directly in nature or in the form of relationships you look at the museums or in the movies. There is a rock group, muck animals, scarab, chameleon, ants, frogs, teddy bears and a pair of waders.

Katja Herrik works with graphics stingray eggs, fish, birds, trilobite and then the crazy series of pests. A small masterpiece in a kind of poetic realism that makes the little beasts to get a completely different almost graceful character of anyone's part, for other amplified the demonic in a way that you will be glad that in the real world is not very large.

A poetic and elated small exhibition that is different from so many other things you see at the moment.
